Sacred Geometry

In the intricate tapestry of human history, certain patterns and symbols have transcended time and culture, carrying profound meanings that touch the realms of the physical and the metaphysical. Sacred geometry, an ancient and intricate discipline, is one such key to unlocking the secrets of our universe's design.  While spirituality often delves into the mysteries of existence and the metaphysical, science seeks to decipher the natural world through empirical observation and logical reasoning. Despite these apparent differences, both spirituality and science employ sacred symbols as vehicles to express complex concepts, inspire wonder, and bridge the gap between the known and the unknown. By acknowledging the potential for alignment between these seemingly separate spheres in this blog post, we open the door to new insights and transformative possibilities. Stay with us as we explore the uncharted territories where these paths intersect, unlocking a wealth of knowledge and growt

Yoga Transforms

In today's fast-paced and stressful world, finding inner peace and balance seems like an elusive dream for many. The pressures of modern life often leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and the world around us. Fortunately, there exists a profound practice that has stood the test of time – Yoga, an ancient discipline that originated in India. When most people think of yoga, they envision various physical postures or asanas. However, yoga is much more than just the physical aspect offering not just physical flexibility but also a transformative path to inner growth, self-awareness, and overall well-being. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, written thousands of years ago, are a foundational text that outlines the philosophy and practices of yoga. Patanjali defines yoga as "the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind" (Yoga Sutra 1.2). In other words, yoga aims to bring about a state of mental tranquility and inner harmony. In this blog, we will explore the wisdom of th

With the Mystics

Throughout an extensive period, nations, communities, and individuals have engaged in discussions and deliberations about the veracity and comprehension linked to various religious beliefs. The core emphasis of this blog post revolves around the pursuit of discerning the genuine or "true" religion, examining it through the prism of mysticism, which can present an extraordinary and life-altering perspective. Who is a mystic? A person who claims to attain, or believes in the possibility of attaining, insight into mysteries transcending ordinary human knowledge, as by direct communication with the divine or immediate intuition in a state of spiritual ecstasy. Mysticism, in its pure form is the science of the Ultimate, the science of union with the Absolute, and nothing else Mystics and their perspectives We know that being a mystic is to believe in the existence of an extrasensory dimension of reality, but mystics differ radically, however, in their claims about extrasensory rea

Glitch in the matrix

Introduction: Metaphorically speaking, we employ the idea of a "glitch in the matrix" to characterize peculiar or unexplainable events that contradict natural laws or disrupt our understanding of the world. While indulging in contemplative exercises that stretch the boundaries of human understanding on the nature of existence, perception, and consciousness, it is crucial to recognize that their ultimate significance lies in their capacity to act as tools for deep philosophical contemplation and challenging our preconceived notions of reality. Let's take a brief journey into the realm of diverse intellectual currents that have captivated thoughtful minds. Explorations 1. Simulation Hypothesis: This interpretation suggests that our entire existence is a simulated reality created by a more advanced civilization or higher-dimensional beings. The glitches in the matrix are seen as anomalies or errors in the simulation, providing hints that our reality is not as concrete as it

What is your storyline?

The need for a biography and it's  paradigms. In this age of information overload, it can be hard for a seeker of knowledge to determine what to prioritize. The biography of a person highlights their goals, works, culture and other significant events in their life. This makes it easier for others to relate with the person, which in turn gives clarity to the thoughts in the seeker’s mind. Is biography a narrative or something more? Biographies symbolize several things, depending on who is reading them and why. A monumental biography is not just a chronological list of events that happened to someone. Rather, it should weave a narrative and tell a story in almost the same way a novel does. In this way, biography differs from the rest of nonfiction. As biographer Richard Holmes, once wrote that his work was:  writing about the pursuit of that fleeting figure in such a way as to bring them alive in the present Biographies are an essential study and aid us to contextualize the world

Digital Discipline

The metaphysics of digital discipline identifies the underlying habits that are imprinted on our cultural self. To rebuild ties with our real selves, we must connect with our deepest convictions. To connect, we need a regimen, a discipline. Discipline is an essential educational toolkit to conquer the challenges offered by the potent psychological forces that drive our basic drives, if we are to even approach feeling healthy. Digital discipline is built upon this work in the age of ubiquitous digital space. Swami Vivekananda valued education as that which goes beyond merely disseminating information. He laid emphasis on the fine art of refining the mind. Today, living a digital lifestyle is synonymous with the new normal. If we really want to know our minds, we must take action to ensure that this pervasive digital lifestyle is regulated and that we are not overwhelmed. So, we need the right education to address this challenge. Digital discipline guides us to inculcate the prin

Choice architecture

Choice architecture is about designing our choice structures. It is about how certain choices we make at the moment, for the moment, with little or no thought and its consequences, as opposed to clarity-based thinking, which governs our decisions. We can choose our actions, or we can choose our consequences, but we can’t choose both. Can we? We think much differently when we make choices for now versus later. Why? Because we want to do better in the future - programmed to seek happiness in the future. Designing our “ choice architecture ” aligns us with our short-term goals and long-term visions. Expert decision-makers often decide based on the consequences of the various options. They then aim to build on the positives and minimize the negatives. To become a consistent decision-maker, one needs to adopt spiritual decision-making, as it imbibes a holistic approach that governs our inner life and influences interactions with the world. We seek freedom, and good choices empower it.

Divine innocence

Can one live in a state of perpetual joy? Do  people take something away from us which we are unaware of?  Evidently, they sap at the core of our being, which is purity. Purity is that elixir that they are after. To be conscious, that purity is a gift that we bring to the world, but rarely take away with us, should awaken a  commitment to preserve the only thing that could ever matter.  Keep what is ours! When innocence and spontaneity awaken  us to discover our innate being. Photo by Michael Morse from Pexels

Spiritual sustainability

We aspire to a certain lifestyle, and sustainability is an integral part of any enterprise. Sustainability comprises economic, environmental, and social contexts. In the context of spiritual walkways, sustainability is more inclusive, taking in ecological as well as social equities. We believe that spiritual sustainability is to be translated as humanity in the web of life, rather than apart from it . Discovering common threads  and  inculcating an attitude of profound respect for our natural surroundings form the core pathways to a sustainable future. Humankind needs this spiritual underpinning. Road to twilight dreams

Knowing the difference between dreams and reality does not mean that a person should deride dreams, but recognize in them the potential to awaken.  Knowing when it is time to stop dreaming and interpreting the inspirations born of dreams is the bedrock of a new reality. Life has its shares of pains and joys, from dreams to reality involves confronting our inner demons and also realizing our deepest aspirations. To transcend the state from being painfully dead to being painfully alive is the art of discovering life. Photo by veeterzy from Pexels
